Owned Social Google Analytics Reporting: How-To

 

  1. Request reporting access to the Google Analytics account associated with the client

    1. You will send an email to datarequests@attaneresults.com with the community name, CDP code, the platform needed, level of access needed, and the email needing access: (socialmediateam@attaneresults.com).

  2. Open Google Analytics and apply the ChannelMix Reporting Segment

  3. Click on Acquisition

  4. Click All Traffic

  5. Click Source/Medium

    1. Select your date range and comparison period 

    2. Select advanced

    3. Edit the view to:

      1.  Include > Source / Medium > Matching Reg Exp  social|facebook|linkedin|pinterest|yelp

      2. Exclude > Source / Medium > Matching Reg Exp > cpc|ppc|paid

      3. NO SPACES – the [ | ] button is just above your Enter key on your keyboard 

    4. Click Apply

  6. Make sure All Goals are filtered under Conversions
